Our pork chops are cut from the loin of our heritage pasture-raised Tamworth hogs.
Our hogs are naturally-raised without antibiotics or synthetic hormones, on free-range pasture with organically-grown feed. Their meat is hung to dry-age for three weeks before cutting by hand into individual cuts.
These pork chops have amazing flavour and tenderness. The meat is rich and juicy, and will make a worthy centrepiece to any meal.
Why are our pigs superior? Well, when pigs are raised on pasture, with access to natural forage and plenty of sunshine, their meat and fat is also richer in micronutrients, particularly fat-soluble vitamins E and D, as well as minerals like selenium. As monogastric animals, like humans, pigs make vitamin D in their skin and in their fat when they’re exposed to sunlight, making pasture-raised pork particularly rich in vitamin D.

Additional Info: The Use of Ractopamine Antibiotics Instahealth farmers DO NOT use antibiotics with their hogs! Many farms us an antibiotic called ractopamine which is banned in 160 countries including China but permitted in Canada and USA. It is used by many farms in Canada to promotes growth while increasing feed efficiency. As a matter of fact China is in constant dispute with Canadian farmers who have exported to their country with inauthentic export certificates with traces of ractopamine in the meat as recent as 2019.
